William A. Radix

William A. Radix died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

He was born to Peter and Elizabeth Radix in the Netherlands. Bill’s family came to this country in 1949. While in the U.S. Army, he was an interpreter. He served as chief of police and as an elected constable for the Village of Lac La Belle until his start with the Village of Oconomowoc Lake Police Department. In addition, he was a member of the Deputy Sheriff’s Department of Waukesha County and the Civil Defense.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a daughter, Deborah.

He is survived by his wife, Judy, and his children, Douglas (Khuna) Radix, David (Tsermaa) Radix, John (Lisa) Radix, Bill Radix and Candace Kapperman-Wolf.

He was the grandfather of Danielle, Mason, Ian, Bambuush, Lauren, Nicole, Melissa, Abigale and Izabel.

He is also survived by his sister, Cathaina “Kitty” Postulart.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of memorial service at noon Saturday, Dec. 15, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, W405 Highway 18, Sullivan, WI 53178.
