Terry L. Shaw ‘THE’ Bon Bree Kid
Terry L. Shaw,
“THE” Bon Bree Kid, of Oconomowoc, passed away Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012,
at the age of 70. Terry is
survived by his loving wife, Joyce, and they just celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary Dec. 1, 2012. Terry is also survived by his
children, Thomas (Michelle) Shaw, Randy (Ilah) Shaw and Tammy (Tony)
Stelter; grandchildren, Courtney and Nicole Shaw, Jake Blum, Amanda and
Adam Hopp, Tyler Shaw and Zackery, Roman, Mitchel and Joseph Stelter;
great-grandchildren, Osirus and Zain Shaw; brothers, Lester (Beverly)
Shaw, Charles (Judy) Shaw and Albert (Nancy) Shaw; sister, Hope (Jerry)
Spritka; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Terry was
preceded in death by his parents, Lester A. and Lillian E. Shaw, and a
sister, Faith Kaufmann. Visitation will
be held from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. memorial service Sunday, Dec. 16,
at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association or Lord of Life Lutheran Church. The family would
like to thank the Okauchee Fire Department and EMT, along with the Town
of Oconomowoc Police Department and Aurora Visiting Nurses for all their
help and support. Terry had worked
at the Mapleton cheese factory for 29 years and it was there that he was
nicknamed “THE” Bon Bree Kid. He also did custodial work at Northview
Elementary in Waukesha. Terry will be deeply missed and forever in the
