Wayne A. Barkley Sr.

Wayne A. Barkley Sr. of Mukwonago found peace Monday, Feb. 6, 2012, at the age of 80.
Wayne proudly served his county in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was an employee of the Waukesha Motor Works for about 12 years. Then Wayne became self-employed owning the Spur Gas Station (now the Village Pump) and Trolley Trap Tavern. Wayne enjoyed NASCAR races, snowmobiling and gardening beautiful flowers.
He was the loving father of Debbie (Richard) McKenzie and Wayne (Joann); proud grandfather of Jennifer (Josh) McHenry, Wayne III, Kimberly, Kelly and Jacob; and dear brother of Connie Wagner, Eloise Hitt, Karlen Beattrey and Lynn Barkley. He is further survived by many other loving relatives and friends, which made his life fun and meaningful.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, James L. and Marcella F. (nee Gehrke) Barkley, and his former wife, Vivian Bucher.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 930 Main St., Mukwonago
