Glenn Irwin Higbee

Glenn Irwin Higbee, 72, of the town of Oconomowoc, passed Friday, Feb. 10, 2012. Glenn courageously battled diabetes, and over the past year, he won many of those battles surrounded by and with the support of his loving family.

He is survived by his wife and best friend, Pamela; his sons, Michael (Kristina) of Oconomowoc and Donald (Karen) of Casper, Wyo.; and Pamís sons, Justin (Aradine) Finch and Jeremy (Christy) Finch. He was the proud loving grandfather "Papa Glenn" of

Stephanie, Jackson, Alexandra, Charlie, Tiayluccia, Atraya, Cole and Mason. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, Ruth (Frank) Cichantek, Gary (Connie), Jerry (Toni), Karen (Don) Ramig, Thomas (Jeanne), Jeffrey (Cindy) and Steve; mother-in-law, Barba Manthey; nieces, nephews, many other relatives, friends and neighbors; and not to forget his favorite "poocher" dog, Sherlock.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Vita.

Glenn served in the Navy on the USS Forrestal. He was a Waukesha police officer for many years, a proprietor of Party Port Liquor Store in Waukesha, a bar owner, a construction worker and driver, and a traffic manager at The Lang Companies.

He enjoyed spending time with his wife and grandchildren, motorcycle riding, boating, sitting in the sun, breakfast and Packers games at Paulineís and lunch at Hogg Alley.

Glenn touched all our lives and will be truly missed and remembered.
