Richard R. Lustig

Richard R. Lustig was born Jan. 14, 1931, and passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at the age of 81.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Lustig, and his children, Susan (Steven) Podjaski, Mary Ellen (Patrick) Canham, Joseph Lustig, Andrew (Linda) Lustig and Nancy (Christopher) Serafin. Richard is further survived by his brothers, Thomas, Michael and William, and by his grandchildren, Sarah (Gilles) Fouquart, Sandra (Nicholas) Scocozzo, Shelly (Trevor II) Waltho and Elizabeth Lustig.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth (Erdmann) Lustig, and his siblings, Joyce, Charles and Laurence.
A memorial service will be held from 11 a.m. until the 12;30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, Feb. 18, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. Richard served in the Army, stationed in Germany, during the Korean War. He worked for the U.S. Post Office, retiring after 30 years of service. He and Elaine enjoyed a long, well-deserved 26 years in retirement, living at Nalcrest, Fla., in the winters and at Forest Lake in the summers. He had a deep appreciation for growing things, travel and especially music.
