Cynthia ‘Cindy’ A. Rivera

July 5, 1952 – Feb. 22, 2012

Cynthia "Cindy" A. Rivera, 59, of Watertown, passed away in the evening on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek after battling with cancer.

Cynthia Alice Moralez was born in Harris County, Texas, on July 5, 1952, a daughter of Pete and Consuelo (Ozuna) Moralez.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waukesha, where she did volunteer work and helped clean the church. Cindy was also a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Victoria, Texas.

Cindy was the beloved mother of Margarita Felito and Fermin Jr. (Stephanie) Rivera, both of Waukesha, Marsha (Carlos) Moreno of Watertown, and Christopher Rivera, Isaac (Melissa) Rivera and Monica Rivera, all of Waukesha; and the loving grandmother of Miranda, Isaiah, Moses, Megan, Aidan, Riley, Mariah, Mariska, Deyanira, Cesar "Simon," Octavious, Harrison, Marisol, Mikayla and Malayah. She is also survived by her parents, Pete and Connie Moralez of Victoria, Texas; a brother, Dr. Steven Moralez of San Antonio, Texas; a sister, Mary Lou Fisher of Trophy Club, Texas; a brother, Peter Moralez of Victoria; her extended family in Texas; and countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the United States.

Cindy was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and daughter, and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon memorial Mass on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown, with Monsignor Daniel Ganshert of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Watertown officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
