Gerald G. Neary

Gerald G. Neary, 80, of Eagle, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, at Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care in Waukesha. He was born March 8, 1931, in Milwaukee, to the late Norman Philip and Agnes (Danforth) Church.
As a boy, he moved to Muskego and was adopted by George Matthias Neary. Gerald served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, and moved to Eagle later in life with his family. He was a member of the Reformation Evangelical Lutheran Church, Genesee Depot.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rose (Biesterveld) Neary; his brother, Ralph Gerald (Sherri) Bopp of Jefferson; six children, Barbara (Larry) Gliszinsk of Wind Lake, Michael (Bonney) Neary of Dousman, Mark (Sophia) Neary of Roanoke, Ind., Carol Kluver of Burlington, Debbie (Mike) Westerman of Ixonia and Matthew (Tanya) Neary of Shoshoni, Wyo.; three stepchildren, Kelly Brown of Eagle, Mike (Kathy) Mulvaney of Muskego and Terry Neumann of Milwaukee; and 20 grandchildren, Anthony, Thomas, Jennifer, Liane, Bruce, Wesley, Megan, Jonathon, Crystal, Reedy, Jamesom, Amanda, Joseph, Katelyn, Stephanie, Kirsten, Matthew, Danny, Adam and Karissa; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Gerald was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Florence Elsie (Lewis) Neary; and a brother, Richard Ralph Neary.
Memoral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan.14, at Reformation Evangelical Lutheran Church, S39-W32887 Highway D, Dousman, with the Rev. Wayne Meier officating.
