Beverly K. ‘Bev’ Robertson

Aug. 3, 1932 – Jan. 27, 2012

Beverly K. “Bev” Robertson of Waukesha passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at her home at the age of 79. Bev was born in Waukesha on Aug. 3, 1932, the daughter of John and Alma (nee Wolf) Kadrich.

She married the love of her life, James “Jim” Robertson, on Nov. 10, 1956. Bev was a dedicated member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Waukesha for more than 55 years. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Club at the church for many years as well. Bev was known for her talkative personality and could start a conversation with anyone. She enjoyed gardening flowers, crossstitching, ceramics and attending craft shows. While Bev was an avid sports fan and cheered for the Bucks, the Brewers, the Marquette and University of Wisconsin’s basketball teams, she especially enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren participate in various sports. She was a part of the Nifty Fifty Club. Bev loved spending time in the northwoods at their cottage in Three Lakes. She loved to decorate for the holidays, but more than anything Bev loved her family and spending time with them.
Bev will be dearly missed by her husband, Jim; her children, Anne Robertson of Cudahy, Mary (John) Ponasik of Antigo, Sarah (Steven) Kowalski of Cornell, Mich., Steven (Ann) Robertson of Verona and Amy (Carl Marshall) Robertson-Marshall of Hendersonville, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Noelle, Zachary, Molly, Jordan, Morgan, Madison, Sarah and Megan; her sister-in-law, Margaret Kadrich of Waukesha; her niece and nephew; and many other family and friends.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, David Kadrich.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial Wednesday, Feb. 1, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha. The Rev. John Schreiter will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Susan G. Komen Southeast Wisconsin Affiliate, P.O. Box 68445, Chicago, IL 60695, or the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County Inc., 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53188.
