APPLETON

Thomas H. Rouse

Sept. 10, 1952 – June 18, 2012

Thomas H. Rouse, age 59, a longtime resident of Waukesha, passed away at his home in Appleton on June 18, 2012. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Tom spent many years researching and logging in depth our family ancestry, as well as helping many others research their family ancestries.

He had a love for music, cats and politics. He will be deeply missed by his family and all whose lives he touched.

Thomas was the loving father of two sons: Tom (Shannon Lesniewski) and Mike (Karen McFarland) and stepdaughter, Danni.

He is survived by a brother, Dr. James Rouse (Susan), and five sisters: Linda Sharpe (Steve, Kathy Holtgrieve (Lee), Laura Hoover (Steve), Terry Torres (Matt) and Gina O’Brien (Pat). He is further survived by his stepmother, Janet Rouse, and stepfather, Robert Schwartz, as well as six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold T. Rouse; his mother, Ilene C. Schwartz; and recently his beloved cat, Harley.

There will be a gathering to celebrate Tom’s life on Friday July 6, 2012, beginning at 6 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. veterans service in honor of Tom with military honors, with a 7 p.m. pot luck dinner to follow at American Legion Post 294, 231 Goodwin Ave. Hartland, WI 53029, on the lower level.

Come share your fond memories of Tom.
