Bruce Andrew Nold

Bruce Andrew Nold passed away Monday, June 4, 2012, at the Healthcare Center at Three Pillars in Dousman. He was born in Dousman on Sept. 23, 1925, to Edgar and Florence (nee Anstey) Nold.
Bruce was the former co-owner of Okauchee Electronic in Okauchee for more than 50 years. Bruce served in the Army with the 42nd Rainbow Division during World War II, serving in Austria and Germany. He was a lifetime member of the Okauchee Lions Club and the American Legion Post No. 399. Through his involvement with the Lions Club, he taught the blind to snow ski. He took great pride in Okauchee Lions Park, which he founded and maintained for many years.
He was very active in the community and enjoyed deer hunting, skiing, baseball and golf.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Trudy; his six children, Kathy McDonald, Brian Nold (life companion Jenny Schroeder), Susan Nold-Vickers, Darlene (Dennis) Sandlian, Michael Nold and Bruce Nold II; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was the fond brother of LaVonne Christensen and Diane Ryan.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Marvin and Daniel.

Friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral Mass on Thursday, June 7, at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church, W359-N8512 Brown St., Oconomowoc.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Okauchee Lions Club or the American Legion Post No. 399.
