Sandra (Sandi) Kline, age 63, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at home with her beloved cats and loving dog Crystal.

She was born Jan. 24, 1949, at Summit Hospital in Oconomowoc.

|Sandi chose the health care field as her lifelong occupation. She graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1967 and attended Milton College for one year before entering MATC in the LPN program to pursue her degree. She then attended UWM to obtain her under graduate degree and UW-Oshkosh to achieve her masterís degree. She was one of the first graduates of the nurse practitioner program at Oshkosh. She then became a preceptor for the LPN program at Oshkosh, training and evaluating nursing students. She went to work as a nurse practitioner in the family practice of Dr. Gardner and Dr. Doll, which became Moreland Family Medicine Associates in Waukesha, where she worked for more than 30 years. She retired from Moreland in June of 2011. Sandi was also a caretaker for her mother and oldest sister in the final years of their lives.

Sandi was also heavily involved with the Cat Fanciers of America, raising prize-winning Siamese cats showing them throughout the upper Midwest.

Sandi is survived by her sister, Bobbie Marquardt of Oconomowoc; her brother, Stephen (Bonnie) Kline of Johnson Creek; and her brother-in-law, Vince Lia of Jefferson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Georgette (Coney) Kline of Oconomowoc; sister Virginia (Gini) and brother-inlaw Alfred Bobrofski of Oconomowoc; and sister Martha (Marti) Lia of Jefferson.

Sandiís funeral will be held at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc on Saturday, June 16, 2012. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to the time of the service at 4 p.m. The Rev. Stephen Welch of the First Congregational U.C.C. Church Oconomowoc will be officiating.
