Jane Marie Fossum
Jane Marie Fossum (nee Earl), 71, passed away peacefully at Seasons Hospice on Friday, June 15, 2012. Jane was born in Austin, Minn., to the late George and Erma (nee Schweichert) Earl.
Jane graduated from Austin High School and attended the University of Minnesota and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She was also an accomplished harpist and the founder of Our Mother of Sorrows Marian Prayer Cenacle since 1995.
She was the spouse of 22 years to Richard (Dick) Fossum; mother of Col. Kirk (Kim) Fansher, Joan Campione, Craig Fansher and Keith (Becky) Fansher; grandmother of Angelea, Izabella and Sophia; stepsister to Theresa Wackenmiller; and stepmother to Michael (Beth) Fossum.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, Albert Kufrin; her brother, Frank Earl, and Carolann Earl.
Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the 5 p.m. Mass of Christian burial Thursday, June 21, at St. Clare Catholic Church, 7616 Fritz Street, Wind Lake. Private interment will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
A special thanks to Dr. Michael Thompson and the oncology team at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, and Kerry, Cassa and Michael, who were the wonderful and caring staff at Seasons Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorial masses have been suggested.
