Lawrence William Peter ‘Larry’ Lee

June 28, 1942 – June 19, 2012

Lawrence William Peter “Larry” Lee of Waukesha found peace Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 69. He was reunited with his beloved daughter, Isabel, who died on May 26, 1992, at the age of 18.

Larry was born in Waukesha on June 28, 1942, the son of William and Margaret (nee Breierton) Lee. Larry attended grade school at St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Catholic Memorial High School. While in high school, he served as an altar boy at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He worked in the grocery business for 43 years as well as being a manager at several different food stores throughout his life. He remembered a jar of Miracle Whip being 59 cents in 1958. On Feb. 20, 1971, he married Roberta Llanas. On April 30, 1974, their precious daughter, Isabel Margaret, was born. Larry and Roberta cared for Isabel round the clock until May 26, 1992, when the good Lord called her home. Isabel and Roberta were the love of Larry’s life. He also had a love for old cars, attending old car shows and listening to ’50s and ’60s music.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Roberta Lee of Waukesha; his brother, James Lee of Kenosha; nephew, Bill Lee and his wife Cyndi; niece, Mary Olenberg and her husband Jeff; and his great-nephews, Nicholas, Jacob and Nate. He is further survived by his close family friends, Kaylene Lee and Monica Vradenburg, along with many other great-nieces, greatnephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Isabel Margaret Lee, in 1992. He is also preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret (nee Breierton) Lee; brother, William Lee; sister, Margaret Rose Lee; and sister in-law, Gail Lee.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to AngelsGrace Hospice for their extremely compassionate care provided throughout Larry’s illness.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 7:30 p.m. prayer service Friday, June 22, at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
