Harold E. Weiher

July 17, 1930 - March 26, 2012

Harold E. Weiher, 81, of Madison, formerly of Sullivan, passed away Monday, March 26, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Brown Deer. Harold was born July 17, 1930, in Bonaparte, Iowa, to Orville and Edith (nee Swift) Weiher.

Harold was a former press operator for the Madison Capitol Times and Milwaukee Journal. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was an avid bingo player.

Harold is survived by his nieces, Karen (Conrad) Rudolph of Waukesha and Susan (John) Mattie of Racine. He is also survived by his great-nieces and great-nephews, Amy (Bill) Radtke, John Rudolph, David (Amy) Rudolph, Penny Rudolph, Gloria Rudolph and Keith (Carol) Rudolph. He is further survived by nine great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jaunita Mumme.

Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until the 5 p.m. funeral service Thursday, March 29, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral Home, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc. Military honors will be given following the service. His final rest will be in Bonaparte, Iowa.

Memorials are appreciated to the Meals on Wheels program in Jefferson County.
