John E. Multhauf
John E. Multhauf, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., formerly of the Town of Genesee, entered eternal life at the age of 81 years on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, and was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara, of 48 years. He was the father of Jay (Christa), the late Kurt, Erich (Nicole) and John (Sandra) Multhauf and the proud papa of Grace, Monika, Jude, Samantha, Irene and Sofia. He is further survived by other relatives and dear friends.
John was a graduate of Marquette Law School in 1954 and was a partner in Cramer, Multhauf & Hammes law firm. In addition he was on the board of directors for the First Federal Bank of Wisconsin, serving as its director from 1974 to 2007. John also served proudly in the U.S. Army in Korea.
John enjoyed an active life of sailing, skiing, tennis and playing golf. He was a longtime member of Merrill Hills and Tequesta country clubs.
A memorial visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2012, at St. Paul Catholic Church, highways 83 and D, Genesee Depot, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Kurt Multhauf Endowment Fund at Catholic Memorial High School appreciated.
