Darlene Mary Green (nee Rath)

Darlene Mary Green (nee Rath), born April 12, 1931, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.

Born in Waukesha and growing up in Mukwonago, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt to dozens of nieces and nephews and beloved by many other family members and dear friends.

For more than 30 years, she served as a waitress in some of Waukesha’s finest restaurants and also worked for numerous auto dealers handling dealer trades. She was a phenomenal cook and gardener. Since the 1950s, she served as a primary caregiver to numerous fami ly members who preceded her in death, including her late husband, Daniel Webster Green; her parents, Vileane Orr and Edward Rath; a brother, Elroy Rath; and her sister-in-law, Geraldine Dixon.

She is survived by her children, Paul Brissette (and longtime partner Tina Curren), JoAnn Haut, Joseph Green and Mari Lesch; her beloved grandchildren, Julie Haut (and fiance Glenn Koch), Ryan Haut (and wife Kelly), Elisa beth Manginelli (and husband Michael Manginelli) , Mari Galvan (and partner Garie Bishop), Daniel Roth (and partner Janelle Gergen) and Jessica Lesch; and her great-grandchildren, Michael Galvan, Matthew Manginelli, Parker Koch, Emily Brissette, Ethan Bris sette (d.2005) and Dylan Koch.

Mother specifically requested that no memorial service occur and, as such, the family encourages donations to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
