James J. Francois
June 8, 1940 – May 13, 2012
James J. Francois was born to life June 8, 1940, and born to eternal life Sunday, May 13, 2012, at age 71. He passed away after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Sue (nee Krueger); his two children, Deborah Boettcher and James (Suzanne); and grandchildren, Adam and Emily Boettcher. He is also survived by his mother, Ellen; brothers and sisters, Melvin (Dorothy), Janet (Don), Ronald (Carol), Sue (Clarence) and Rodger (Janet); and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, August; sister, Marilyn; and son-in-law, Ken Boettcher.
Jim retired from LTG after 30 years and then worked with Arc Pacific and Heat Tek, which took him to China, Poland and other parts of the world. Jim loved the outdoors and was an avid sportsman.
There will be a visitation from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 17, and from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service Friday, May 18, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, with interment to follow at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
The family would like to thank Drs. Frederico Sanchez, Chris Fox, Chris Davies and Stephen Bartos, with special thanks to Deb Wagner (PA) and the staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for the excellent care given to Jim.
