Ralph Lubnow of Port Washington, formerly of Waukesha, entered eternal life Thursday, May 24, 2012, at the age of 95.
He was the loving husband of Marian (nee Lufter) for 67 years; beloved father of Alan (Audrey) and Brian (Donna); proud grandfather of Nicholas (Heather) Lubnow, Jennifer (Tony) Lubnow-Schroekenthaler, Becky Lubnow, Jessica (Matt) Lubnow-Kaemmerer, Kyle (Barbi) Kaminski, Tricia Kaminski-Prophett and Nicole (Scott) Follette; and dear great-grandfather of Ryan Helm, Zackery Kaminski, Autumn Prophett, Ethan Prophett, Carmen Follette, Cole Follette, Kearah Lubnow, Koy Lubnow and John Pelant.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mae (nee Affolter) Lubnow, and three brothers Art, Don and Warren.
He was a chemist for Freeman Chemical for 17 years. Ralph was a member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Sussex, the American Chemical Society, functioning as its treasurer, and the Port Washington Lions’ Club, functioning as one of its charter members. Ralph was also a proud U.S. Army Air Corps veteran.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 5 p.m. memorial service Tuesday, May 29, at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, N59-W22476 Silver Spring Drive, Sussex. Inurnment will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, at Highland Memorial Park, 14875 W. Greenfield Ave., New Berlin.
