Bonnie Jean Williams-Harbold

May 2, 1942 – May 28, 2012

Bonnie Jean Williams-Harbold passed away on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28, 2012, at the age of 70 after a valiant fight with cancer that started in September of 2009.

Her twin sister, Betty Jane, stuck by her side through this courageous fight with as much of a positive attitude as Bonnie had. You can never understand what kind of bond that twins could have and these two were inspirational. They kicked cancer together for another two years when Bonnie decided she had had enough of that! That was already a remarkable feat considering she’d been given six months with chemo. She went another nine months before the twins found out that the cancer had come back.

This time there was no winning the fight and she passed in peace at the Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Harbold Jr. Also preceding her in death were her parents, Robert and Lorraine Williams, and sisters Sue and Mary.
She is survived by her sisters, Betty Williams and Cathy (Williams) McDonald, and brother, Thomas Williams. She also is survived by her children, Robert Combs and Michelle (Combs) Schultz, and grandchildren, Devinn, Logan, Nicholas and Coral.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the 3 p.m. funeral service Saturday, June 2, at the Church and Chapel Funeral Home, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.

Graveside services will be held at the Wales Cemetery at approximately 4:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting pictures, donations, green plants or memories.
