Wilma L. Brimmer found eternal peace Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Linden Grove Nursing Home in Waukesha with her family by her side.

She was born in Omro to Walter and Bertha Baumbach, but lived in Waukesha for most of her life.

She was preceded in death by her soulmate and husband of 57 years, Myron Brimmer. Wilma was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed many years with Myron as they fished, played cards, square-danced and relaxed at their weekend retreat in Shawano. They had many dear friends and loved to travel.

Wilma is survived by her loving daughter, Marge (Robert) Beaster of Waukesha; stepdaughters, Barbara (Roy) Finney of Waterford and Marleene (Dick) Bloom of Genesee; six grandchildren, Patricia (Jeff) Hellman, Doug Bloom, Todd (Monica) Finney, Chris (Steve) Draeger, Debbie (Mark) Pichler and Kelly Fuchs; as well as 12 great-grandchildren, Vince and Dave Hellman, Kathleen and Michael Bloom, Paige, Davis, Reena and Brooke Finney, Nathan Draeger, Ryan and Lauren Pichler and Abigail Fuchs; and many nieces and nephews.

Wilma was also preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Lawrence Hammel; and her siblings.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the noon service Monday, Nov. 5, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha. Interment will follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery.

The family's appreciation is extended to Linden Grove Nursing Home in their care for Wilma in her final weeks.

Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice in her name.
