Jerome Dettmann of Mole Lake, formerly of Mukwonago, passed away unexpectedly at his home Monday, Nov. 5, 2012. He was born in Waukesha on Jan. 11, 1939.
Jerome worked as the head of the Mukwonago Public Works Department until retiring to Mole Lake in 1997. Jerome was an avid sportsman and collector.
Jerome will be sadly missed by his wife of 40 years, Joyce Anne; dear sister, Madelyn, and brother-in-law, Ben Wielgus of New Berlin; daughter, Barbara (Gordon) Stahl; grandchildren, Laura (Dwayne) Glosemeyer of Eagle, Rebecca (Jim) Olsson of Vernon, Gina Keane of Milwaukee and Clayton (Melissa) Keane, Idaho; great-grandchildren, Deja Keane, Emilie and Andrew Glosemeyer, and Lydia and Cortney Olsson; a niece, Sharon (Mike) O’Gallager; and a nephew, Randy Wielgus. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben and Merle Dettmann, and his son, Bob Keane.
A celebration of life service will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 12, at the Brooklife Church, 857 S. Rochester St., Mukwonago, WI 53149.
