Scott G. Douglas

Scott G. Douglas Sr., 55, of Neenah, passed away Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at his home after a long, courageous battle with cancer. He was born Oct. 27, 1957, the son of Betty and the late Russel Douglas.

Scott’s positive and uplifting attitude will be missed by his family and friends.

Scott was a professional truck driver who won many awards for safety during his career. He loved playing his guitar and enjoyed many happy days with his grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Helen; his daughter, Dianne Douglas of Oshkosh; son, Scott Douglas Jr. (special friend Berta Smith) of Poynette; stepsons, Matthew (Judy) Janssen of Fond du Lac and Michael Janssen (special friend Crystal Galica) of Oshkosh; 16 grandchildren, among them being Michael, Salina, Alexander, Natasha, Denny, Ivy, Ethan, Noelle, Mary, Autumn and Amaya; his mother, Betty Green of Waukesha; sisters, Debbie (Walter) Yoder of Evansville, Ill., and Marsha Green of Waukesha.

He was preceded in death by his father and his stepfather, Everett Green.

The funeral service for Scott was held Monday, Nov. 12.
