Terri M. Zimmermann (nee Pass) died peacefully surrounded by her family Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 62. She was born Oct. 21, 1950, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Arthur Leonard and June Dae (nee Marks) Pass.
She had been employed as a buyer for Kranz Inc. in Racine for many years before she began her dream job as a food demonstrator at Samís Club. Terri loved to cook, see people happy and loved all animals, always keeping dog treats in her pocket. She was instrumental in starting a community garden at her apartment complex, in which they were able to have a good size garden, harvesting their vegetables in the fall.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Erica Zimmermann, and son-in-law, Michael Johnkowski of Coloma; grandchildren, Jacob Stewart of Muskego and Elijah Johnkowski of Coloma; brother, Mark (Sally) Pass of Waukesha; and sister, Debra (David) Kneib of Wauwatosa. She is further survived by her nieces, Shoshannah Pass and Hannah Kneib; nephew, Joshua Pass; and loving cousins, other family, many dear friends, especially her four-legged friend, Maury.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family would like to extend a thank-you to the health care providers at Waukesha Memorial Hospital for all their special care and concern.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at Congregation Emanu-El of Waukesha, 830 W. Moreland Blvd.,Waukesha, with Rabbi Steven Adams presiding.
