Ruth M. Brierton (nee Conway)


Ruth M. Brierton (nee Conway), 95, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012. 

She was the loving mother of Daniel (Donna) Brierton, Patricia (Rick Kohlbacher) Brierton, Suzanne (Bruce) Bell and Peter (Paula) Brierton; and proud grandma of Kristin (Brendan), Kerry (Mark), Kevin (April), Keely (Kevin), Kolin, Korey (Nina), Amy (J.J.), Megan (Dave), Michael (Fiancee Jenny), Maureen (Ted), Courtney, Joey, Katie, Lauren and 22 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara (Larry) Wachs; sister-inlaw, Jan Conway; brother in-law, Gary Schroeder; daughters-in-law, Judy and Jane; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, sons, David, Phillip and Timothy; great-grandson, Tyler; her parents; and six siblings.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. Mass of Christian burial Monday, Oct. 8, at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. 
Ruth lived a long and wonderful life, and was loved by all. 

Her family would like to thank the staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and Oak Hill Terrace for the kindness and care extended to Ruth.
