Dr. Charles William ‘Chuck’ ‘Bill’ McCauley

Dr. Charles William “Chuck” “Bill” McCauley, 72, of Delafield, passed away unexpectedly from heart-related illness Friday evening, Oct. 12, 2012, at Wisconsin Rehabilitation Hospital, having initially been treated at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

Chuck is survived by wife, Constance Ann “Connie” McCauley of Delafield; a brother, Thomas M. (Jana) McCauley; nephews, Alex and Andrew of Oregon, Wis.; along with sisters- and brothers-in-law, many nieces and nephews who provided both Chuck and Connie with a supportive extended family relationship.

Chuck was born Sept. 16, 1940, in Superior, to Charles S. and Bertha E. McCauley. He attended Superior East High School and graduated in 1958. He then went on to attended Superior State College prior to acceptance to Marquette University Dental School. Chuck graduated from Marquette in 1967 and practiced general dentistry in Waukesha County at Greenbrook Dentistry and Dental Associates until retirement. He was a member of the Waukesha County Dental Association.

 

Chuck and Connie married in 1964 and would have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in just a few years. They have resided in Delafield at their beloved “ranch” since designing and building it in 1976.

 

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the noon funeral service Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave., Oconomowoc. Chuck will be laid to rest following the funeral services at LaBelle Cemetery in Oconomowoc.
