Chester A. ‘Chet’ Konieczny

Chester A. “Chet” Konieczny died peacefully Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at the age of 86, surrounded by his loving family.


He was the beloved husband of the late Delphine (nee Kujawa) and father of the late Duane.


He was the dearest brother of Aloysius “Ollie” (the late Lillian), the late Ervin (Mildred) and the late Joseph (the late Charlene) Konieczny and loving godfather of Larry, Jeanine, Bonnie, Todd and Nicholas. He is further survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, and great-great-nieces and -nephews, other relatives and friends.


Chet retired from GM in 1990, served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, enjoyed watching the Packers and the Brewers and loved playing the lottery.


Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 W. Loomis Road, Greendale, with a funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Interment and military honors will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
