Clarence “Butch” J. Houk, 76, of Eagle, passed away peacefully
Thursday, Sept. 20,
2012, at his residence surrounded by his family. Butch was born Oct. 22,
1935, in Dousman, the son of the late Peter
and Margaret Houk.
On
Aug. 5, 1961, Butch married Jane Dymond at St. Theresa Catholic Church
in Eagle, where he was a lifelong member. Butch lived his entire life in
the Eagle area, where he was a farmer, and also worked for 28 years at
Grede Foundry in Waukesha. He enjoyed spending time with his children,
grandchildren and hunting.
Butch
is the cherished father of Kim (Brian) Aldrich, Todd (Tammy Isenhart)
Houk and Dawn (William) Johnson; adored grandfather of Morgan, Jon,
Courtney, Billy, Samantha, Dalton, Jackie, James, Maddie, Sarah and
Stephanie; and dear brother of Dorothy Dailey and Ralph Houk. Butch is
loved and will be remembered by other relatives and many dear friends.
He
was preceded in death by his wife, Jane, in 2010; a granddaughter,
Angela; and six brothers, Art, Leo, Paul, Donald, Richard and Peter.
Visitation
for Butch will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at
Haase Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home, 103 W. Eagle St., Eagle. A
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at
St. Theresa Catholic Church, 136 Waukesha Road, Eagle, with the Rev.
Larry Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
