Michael J. ‘Mike’ Garrow


Michael J. “Mike” Garrow of Waukesha died unexpectedly Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at his home at the age of 65. He was born in Waukesha the son of the late Francis and Rosetta (nee Plein) Garrow.

Mike was a 1965 graduate of Pewaukee High School. On May 24, 1969, he married the love of his life, Kathleen “Kathie” Combe, at St. Mark’s Church in Milwaukee. He was currently working at Toolrite Manufacturing Co., where he began his 43-year career on Jan. 8, 1969. Mike will always be remembered as a loving and devoted father and husband.

He will be forever missed by his loving wife of 43 years, Kathie of Waukesha, and their children, Kristie (Cory) Gassman of Greenfield, Mike (Angela) Garrow of Milton, Kelly Garrow of Belleville and Brian Garrow of Minneapolis, Minn., and by his three granddaughters, Taylor and Brianna Garrow and Keelie Joy Gassman. He is further survived by his sisters, Pat Stachowicz of Racine and Linda (Harry) Kornfeld of Pewaukee, along with other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. memorial service Saturday, Sept. 29, at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
