Lowell J. Rausch Jr.

Lowell J. Rausch Jr., 69, passed away Friday, March 29, 2013, at Kenosha Estates.

 

Lowell was born on May 20, 1943, in Waukesha, the son of the late Lowell Sr. and Catherine (Loomis) Rausch. Lowell grew up on the family farm in Dousman. He owned and operated Golden Lake Service from 1972 to 1987.  He enjoyed doing auto bodywork and was very artistic.

 

Lowell is survived by his children, Lowell (Kate) Rausch of Deerfield, Lawrence (Peggy) Rausch of Palmyra and Catherine (Clyde) Jackson of Jefferson; grandchildren, Michael, Emily, James, Violet, Courtney and Briana; step-great-grandchild, Netassia Nufer; brother, Loren (Kathleen) Rausch of Blair; and sister, Barbara Ann (Bernard) Gallenberg of Madison. Lowell is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

 

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April 2, at St. Bruno Catholic Parish, 226 W. Ottawa Ave., Dousman, with the Rev. Ralph Gross and the Rev. John Rausch concelebrating. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery.
