Mary A. Krueger of Waukesha passed away at Waukesha Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at the age of 88. She was born Feb. 8, 1925, in Waukesha, the daughter of Ralph and Esther (nee Klatt) Monroe.

Mary was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Waukesha. She enjoyed ceramics and traveling, especially to those wonderful trips to her cottage in Manitowish Waters. Mary’s greatest joy, however, was spending time with her friends and family.

Mary will be sadly missed by her children, Carol (Thomas Putz) Fisher and David (Marilyn) Krueger; grandchildren Brian (Pam) Fisher, Jeff Fisher, Dan (Dani) Krueger and Becky (Robert) Frayer; great-grandchildren, Joshua Fisher, Zachery Fisher, Evan Frayer and Ashley Frayer; great-great-grandchild, Grayson; and brother, Robert Monroe. She will also be terribly missed by her longtime and special friend of more 31 years, Gary Jackson. Mary is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Harvey; sister-in-law, Patricia Monroe; son-in-law, Richard Fisher; and a grandson, David Fisher.

The visitation for Mary will be held from noon until the 3 p.m. funeral service Sunday, April 7, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha. Burial will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, April 8, at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha (please meet at the cemetery office).
