Elizabeth (Bette) Majeskie
Elizabeth (Bette) Majeskie, 86, a current resident of Rio Rancho, N.M., and a former long-term resident of Waukesha, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013. She was born to Norman and Eva Widstrand on May 18, 1926, in Crystal Falls, Mich.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob), also of Waukesha; a son, Richard; and a daughter, Nadine Trimborn.
Bette is survived by her children, Deborah Sullivan, Marlane Gabel Barton (Roger), Denice MacDonald, Gerard (Carolyn), Peggy Schofield (Ernest) and Melissa Stephens (Theo). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Ryan, Scott, Daniel, Stephanie, Brian, Kelley, Katie, Angela, Jeremy, Kayla and Kelli Anne; her great-grandchildren, Mallory, Ethan, Jessika and Isabella; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Bette was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary Post 118, the Rio Rancho Elks Club and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She was an avid reader of books, loved music, making boiled dinners, pasties and fudge for her family, playing bingo and spending time at the casino.
