Drew (Andrew) G. Swan, 24, died in his sleep at his residence in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, one week short of his 25th birthday.

He leaves behind his dearly loved mom, Tamara Swan-Hummert of Milwaukee, and father, Gregory Swan of West Bloomfield, Mich.; his beloved brother Jack, medical student at Michigan State; his stepfather, Jamie Hummert; stepmother, Kristine Bonds; his grandparents, Wayne and Judith Rolfs of Fontana and Warren G. Drew graduated from St. Jerome Grade School in Oconomowoc, Arrowhead High School in Hartland and the University Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in business. He worked as store manager for Hollister and most recently in the food service industry in Fort Lauderdale. In addition to his great love for family, friends and people in general, Drew enjoyed music, cooking, sports and nature. He is the founder of the Progressive Club to encourage young men and women to set goals and purpose to maximize their lives. His inspirational blogs have been widely distributed and can be viewed online at
