Bernice A. Reimer



Bernice A. Reimer, a longtime Hartland resident, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at the age of 95.

She was born to parents Oscar and Edna (VanLare) Betker and grew up in the Brookfield-Lannon area. She married the late Delbert “Sheeny” Reimer and moved to Hartland. She enjoyed her life raising her children, gardening, cooking and baking. Later she worked as a cook at the Hartland Elementary School. She was an avid knitter and crafter.

She is survived by her children, Nancy (the late Sheldon “Clem”) Fetkenhauer, Clifford “Bud” Reimer, Dale “Linda” Reimer, Thomas “TR” Reimer, the late Cheri Reimer and Peggy (Raymond) Holden. She is further survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two greatgreat- grandchildren; and her special friend, Rick Wagner. In addition, she will be missed by other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at noon on Saturday, April 20, at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave., Hartland. Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services. Her final rest will be in Glenview Memorial Gardens, Ixonia.

If desired, memorials may be given to the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County in memory of her kitties.
