Dorothy T. Witterholt, 81, passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2013.

Dorothy was born in Illinois on Oct. 7, 1931, the daughter of Steve and Josephine (Hawerman) Staszewski. She married the love of her life, Clarence Witterholt, on April 17, 1948.

Dorothy will be remembered for her outgoing personality. Dorothy farmed with her husband, Clarence, all her life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and playing cards. She brought pleasure to those lives she touched. Most of all, she taught us the importance of family.

She was the dear mother of “Pete” Clarence (Sue) of Black Creek, Bill (Jen) of Seymour, Diane (Al) Harding of Whitewater, Elaine (Ken) Lackowski of Bowler and Josie (John) Kurtz of Bonduel; and cherished grandmother of Cassie (Mike) Caler, Lindsay (Jason) Ard, Amanda (Justin) Schmidt, Peter (Melissa) Witterholt, Alexis and Dakota Witterholt, Jack (Beth) Harding, Scott (Carlin) Harding, Jaime (Jeff) Ramlow, Lisa (Steve) Schmitt, Jeff (Beth) Walters, Mark (Lynn) Walters, April Kent, Dawn Szulzewski, Jodi (Jesse Wnuk) Kurtz and Jake (fiancée Brittany Hugo) Kurtz. Dorothy is further survived by 31 great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Rosella Houk and Sylvia Witterholt; a brother-in-law, Jerry (Joann) Witterholt; and many other relatives and dear friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; sisters, Phyllis Suchorski and Joanne Staszewski; dear sisters-in-law, Lucille Witterholt and Iola Witterholt; and her brothers-in-law, Elmer and Joseph Witterholt and Paul Houk.
