Bruce Ryan Clawson

Bruce Ryan Clawson, the loving and devoted husband of Frances, met his precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013, at the beautiful AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc. He was a Good Steward of Christ’s love, and it shone through to everyone he met.

Bruce was born and raised in Indiana. He graduated from Lockport West High School and Joliet Junior College in Illinois. He made his home in the Milwaukee area many years ago and was employed by Wellpoint. He and Frances were members of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Brookfield. He always had a welcoming smile and ready hand for everyone. He was a loyal volunteer for Telling the Truth Ministry.

Our dear husband, son, father, grampa and brother leaves behind to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, his family that includes his wife, Frances Gibas Clawson; mother, Margaret Draper; sons, Chris Clawson, Andy (Yelena) Clawson, Danny (Christie) Chovan and Patrick (Ashley) Chovan; grandchildren, Tripp, Nora and Max Chovan; siblings, Alanna (Monte) Hensley, Frank Clawson and Mary (Fred) Roy; his “favorite” niece, Sarah Florea; and his best friend, Kevin Burditt.

A celebration of life will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 13445 W. Hampton Road, Brookfield, on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 11:30 a.m., with gathering beginning at 10:30 a.m. Please bring your memories and rejoice with us.

Special thanks to Dr. Paul Lemarbre, his nurse Natalie, the staff at Waukesha Memorial Oncology and AngelsGrace Hospice of Oconomowoc for their tender loving care and comfort they provided for Bruce.
