Rodney K. Knoelke

Rodney K. Knoelke, 60, formerly of North Prairie, passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at River Hills West Health Care Center in Pewaukee.

Rodney was born July 1, 1953, in Waukesha, the son of the late Kenneth and Evelyn (Schlender) Knoelke. Rodney graduated from Mukwonago High School, where he was a star athlete playing baseball, football and basketball. He was a member of the Land o’ Lakes baseball team and an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.

Rodney will be missed by his beloved friend and caregiver, Roxanne (Thom) Knoelke-Anderson. He was the cherished father of Corey Knoelke of Oconomowoc, Lacy Knoelke of Milwaukee and Katie (Anthony) Zilli of Milwaukee; dear brother of Roger Knoelke of North Prairie; and uncle of Christopher Knoelke of North Prairie. Rodney was loved and will be remembered by other relatives and dear friends.

A memorial service for Rodney will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 312 N. Main St., North Prairie, with the Rev. Daniel Torkelson officiating. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. Thursday until the time of service at the church.
