Roger Lee Behling, 80, of Clarendon Hills, Ill., formerly of Park Forest, Ill., and Waukesha, was born on Aug. 22, 1933, and passed away on Dec. 13, 2013, at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood, Ill.
Roger was a U.S. Army veteran and school teacher for Bloom High School in Chicago Heights for many years. He was the beloved husband of Barbara S. and the late Edith Behling; loving father of Deborah Zwicker, Kevin Behling and Janet (David) Carlson; cherished grandfather of Rachel and Elizabeth Zwicker, Casey Behling and George and Christopher Carlson; dear brother of Robert (the late Marilyn) Behling, Judy (Richard) Stocks and the late Phyllis Hoyer; and loved uncle of many.
Roger was an avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan. Roger’s passion was photography and traveling.
Visitation will be held today, Dec. 17, from 3 p.m.
to 9 p.m., at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside, Ill., where a chapel service will be held at 7 p.m. Private interment will be at Oak Knoll Cemetery in Mukwonago.
