SUGAR ISLAND

Patricia M. Fredrick

Aug. 16, 1948 – Dec. 17, 2013

Patricia Mary (Klecker) Fredrick, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, 65, of Sugar Island, was called to God on Tuesday morning, Dec. 17, 2013.

She passed peacefully with family at her side at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

Patricia, known to all as “Pat,” was born Aug. 16, 1948, to Cyril and Phyllis (Lewis) Klecker, in Watertown. She attended Watertown High School, graduating with the class of 1966.

On Oct. 18, 1969, she married Lohny Alex Fredrick at St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Watertown.

She worked as an executive administrative assistant and many secretarial positions through the years, including time spent at Lindberg Hevi-Duty and Brandt Automatic Cashier in Watertown, A.O.

Smith/Tower Automotive in Milwaukee, and Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, from where she retired in September 2012.

She is survived by her husband, Lohny of the Town of Lebanon; and her daughter, Brenda (Michael Sztuczko) Jorgensen and her granddaughter Aysia Jorgensen of Appleton; son, Kyle (Christi), and their children Paige and Hayden of Pittsburgh, Pa.; mother, Phyllis Klecker of Watertown, and sisters Connie (Daniel) Herbst of Watertown, Jeannie (Patrick) Hunter of Hartland, Denise Klecker of Portland, Ore., and Julie (Glen) Egnarski of Watertown and their families.

Those that knew Pat will recall her intense love of her animals, and include those in the family she leaves behind.

Preceded in death by her father, Cyril, she also will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Pat will be remembered as a loving and generous friend, quick to offer comfort and assistance to those in need.

During her life, Pat enjoyed a wide range of interests, but had an unmatched love for her pets. She especially enjoyed learning to ride horses. Taking up the hobby after the age of 50, she embraced her passion and had a special connection with her own horses Oscar, Bugsy and Joey. The family dogs Alex and Maggie and many past and present “critters” miss her already. Her friends will recall her as an ardent fan of Elvis Presley, and her enthusiasm for the Green Bay Packers.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, Dec. 23. A visitation will commence at 12:00 p.m., with funeral services at 3 p.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Parish, 114 S. Church St., Watertown, with Monsignor Daniel Ganshert and the Rev. Dan Helwig officiating. Pat will be laid to rest at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 24 at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Sugar Island.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Pat’s memory for St. Bernard’s Catholic Church of Watertown, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Sugar Island, or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Online condolences may be made at www.hafemeisterfh.com.
