Kim Kiesgen, born July 16, 1949, in Chicago, found eternal peace Dec. 20, 2013.
He was the beloved husband and friend of Kathleen (nee Quinn); loving father of Kyle (Angela), Kristopher (Shannon), Kevin (Amy) and Kathryn (Corey) McConnell; loving grandfather to Hailey, Kennedy and Conner Kiesgen; Kaden Kiesgen and Liam McConnell.
He was the son of the late Walter (Beverly) Kiesgen and Jeanine (Robert) Caskey, brother of Robbin (Robert) Holder of Waukonda, Ill., and Kelly (Shawn) Timmerman of Hoffman Estates, Ill., Kurt and Kenneth. He was the loved son-in-law of Mary (William) Quinn of Chicago; brother-in-law to Mary Jo (Robert) Smith of Port Huron, Mich., Barbara (the late William) Quinn of Wheaton, Ill., Kevin Quinn of Weekie Wauchie, Fla. Barbara (Michael) Brennan of Chicago, Caren (Thomas) Bazarek of Park Ridge, Ill., and Patricia (Richard) Olson of Chicago; and the loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Kim moved to Elk Grove, Ill., from 1979-1992. Kim was active in Elk Grove youth baseball and football programs during those years.
He moved to Wales in 1992 and had an active part in the Kettle Moraine Youth Football program from 1992-2000.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road, Waukesha (corner of highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94) from 12 noon until the memorial service at 4 p.m.
