Randall J. Knapik
Nov. 10, 1950 – Dec. 17, 2013
Randall J. Knapik of Waukesha passed away of natural causes Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at his residence at the age of 63 years. He was born in Waukesha on Nov. 10, 1950, the son of Raymond J. and Dawn M. (nee Burdett) Knapik.
Randy was a 1968 graduate of Waukesha High School.
He had been employed in the shipping and receiving Department at Ortho-Kinetics, Inc. in Waukesha and was currently employed at Farm and Fleet. Randy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Randy enjoyed singing and listening to music, Facebooking, enjoyed cooking, watching TV and movies. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. But most of all he loved his family and took great pride in attending his nieces’ and nephews’ school programs, sporting events and any other activities that they were involved in. If there was a special activity you could always count on Uncle Randy to be there. Randy will always be remembered for having a kind heart, a giving spirit, and a great belief in God. One of Randy’s charitable donations was the giving of blood, which he donated for over 20 years. He was also on the bone marrow registry.
He will be deeply missed by his mother, Dawn of Waukesha; brother, Gregg Knapik of Waukesha; sisters Marilee (Kurt) Knapik-Christensen of Racine and Wendy (Rick) Corgiat Jr. of Waukesha; six nieces: Britany (Scott) Fisher-Kerns, Brooklyn Fisher, Sahara, Seneca, and Jericho Knapik-Christensen and Shaunna Corgiat; two nephews, Denmark and Canaan Knapik-Christensen; one great-nephew, James Jude Kerns; one great-niece, Elle Beth Kerns and one aunt, Lani Alexander of Waukesha.
Also surviving are other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Raymond Knapik; and one great-niece, Emmy Robin Kerns.
The visitation for Randy will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, from 12:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. funeral service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N.
