She received her associate degree from Waukesha County Technical College in secretarial science and until the day she passed away never regretted her education or the use of her skills. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Waukesha where she served on several church boards and committees and taught Sunday school. Lois enjoyed traveling, volunteering in different community organizations, playing games, dancing, doing crafts, knitting and crocheting, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth of Waukesha, and their two children, Keith D. Jones of Milwaukee and Linda S. (David) Wellerritter of Waukesha, along with three grandchildren, Emily Wellerritter of Waukesha, Joshua Jones of Texas and Jessica Jones of Milwaukee. She is further survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Erdine Jones of Horseshoe Bend, Ariz.; her cousin, Patricia (Albert) Hajek; her very special friend, Trude Deglau; along with many other friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only sister, Mary Agnes Krasnicky, and her grandson, Jacob Jones.
