Douglas Leonard Finn Sr.

Douglas Leonard Finn Sr. of Antigo died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at his
home. He was 64 years old. He was born Oct. 27, 1948, in Waukesha, a son
of William and Phyllis (Dunn) Finn.
He served in the U.S. Army from Jan. 29, 1968, until Jan. 21, 1970.
Mr. Finn worked at the Waukesha Foundry for about four years. He also
worked at Fortems Bar in Waukesha as a bartender and custodian. He moved
to Wausau in 2006 and then to Antigo in 2009.
He enjoyed watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers, and
western movies.
Survivors include a son, Douglas L. (Morgan Wegner) Finn Jr. of Minocqua;
two daughters, Sherry Warner of Green Bush and Maggie Lou (Jim Gowin) Finn
of Grandview, Texas; a granddaughter, Deanna Finn; six
great-grandchildren; three sisters, Peggie (Jerry) Thomas of Neshkoro,
Kathy Jo Anivizno of Waukesha and Sharon (Glenn Schultz) Paul of Antigo;
two brothers, William (Linda) Finn Jr. of Waukesha and Daniel (Linda) Finn
of Florence, Ky.; two stepbrothers, John (Gail) Duernberger of Waukesha
and Robert Byle of Waupaca; two stepsisters, Debbie (Jim) Duernberger of
Iola and Linda Parker of Waupaca; and a nephew, Patrick (Shelly) Paul of
Florence, Ky. He
was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings.
Visitation will be held from noon until the 1 p.m. funeral service Monday,
Jan. 7, in the chapel at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. Burial with
military honors will take place at the cemetery immediately following the
service.
