Bernice J. Weber
Bernice J. Weber of Muskego passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at the age of 97. Bernice was born in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Robert and Edna Huenerhoff.
She married the love of her life, Rudolph “Rudy” Weber, on March 6, 1943. Bernice worked for Curlee Clothing Co. and played on the St. Louis softball World Series Championship Team. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in New Berlin and a founding member of Chapel of the Cross Church in Florissant, Mo. Bernice was also a member of the Big Bend-Vernon Lions Club. Most of all, she loved to travel with family and groups of friends.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Robert (Joan) Weber and Richard (Lisa) Weber; grandchildren, Rob, Brian (Jessica), Kelly, Dan, Mike (Lisa) Weber, Aimie (Mark) Detchemendy, Amber (Shane) Morgan and Andy Weber; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Rudy; and two step-great-grandchildren, Dylan and Drew. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy.
The visitation for Bernice will be held from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. funeral service Friday, Jan. 11, at Peace Lutheran Church, 17651 W. Small Road, New Berlin, WI 53146. The Rev. Ken Rankin will be officiating. A private service and burial will take place in Florissant, Mo.
