Robert ‘Bob’ P. Plutowski

Robert “Bob” P. Plutowski, 87, of Watertown, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family.
Robert Paul Plutowski was born Aug. 29, 1925, the son of Martin and Anna (Zinda) Plutowski in Milwaukee. On Aug. 30, 1950, he married Eugenia “Jeane” Zunker at St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Bob served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was stationed in Hawaii and Aleutian Islands. Bob received his certificate from Boys Tech Trade School in tool and die making. He worked for Square D Co. in Milwaukee, retiring after 35 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 294 in Hartland and Tool and Die Lodge No. 78 of Milwaukee. Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed being up north.
He is survived by a daughter, Kathy (Larry) Scheler of Watertown; a son, Marty (Patricia) Plutowski of Waukesha; six grandchildren, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Schuett, Keri (fiance Brian) Johnson, Stacy (Aaron) Ready, Tracy (Andy) Jacobson, John (Stephanie) Plutowski and Melody Plutowski; eight great-grandchildren, Tyler and Kirstin Johnson, Todd and Abby Ready, Katelyn Schuett, Kylee, Cayden and Sydney; a sister, Mary Ann (Tom) Kosidowski of Eagle River; a brother, John Plutowski of Milwuakee; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeane, on July 21, 2002; and a brother, Stanley Plutowski.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the noon memorial service Saturday, Jan. 26, at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, in the Chapel of the Flowers. Innichement will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
