Beverly Florence Burmeister
June 1, 1932 – July 17, 2013
Beverly Florence Burmeister of Waukesha died unexpectedly Wednesday,
July 17, 2013, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 81. She was
born in Waukesha on June 1, 1932, the daughter of Ernest and Florence
(nee Kanode) Radtke.
Beverly was a devoted and caring person who enjoyed helping her friends.
She was an avid Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers fan. Beverly
enjoyed knitting, reading, traveling and attending St. Joseph Catholic
Church, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Deanna (John Valliere) Jensen
of Davenport, Iowa, and her son, Jordan; Jon (Stephanie) Burmeister of
Snohomish, Wash.; David (Elizabeth) Burmeister of Lost Nation, Iowa;
Sally (Jim) Schroeder of Lost Nation; Bob (Bonnie) Burmeister of
Maquoketa, Iowa; the late Tim (Barb) Burmeister of Lost Nation; and Sue
Burmeister of Lost Nation. She is further survived by numerous
grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Tim; her parents, Ernest Radtke
and Florence Heckler; her sisters, Barbara J. Radtke and Ruby T.
Flessner; and her brother, Robert E. Radtke.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Beverly’s dear
friends and landlord Judy and Ron Rehm for their dedication and care
over the past several years.
Private family services will be held.
