Glenn E. Sisson

Glenn E. Sisson passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013, at the age of 81, at his home in Greenfield. He was born Nov. 21, 1931, at his home in Greenwood, to George Wallace and Erna (Yunker) Sisson.
Glenn grew up on his family farm in Greenwood.
Early in life he developed his love of traveling and motorcycles. He graduated from Greenwood High School in Greenwood in 1950. After high school, he married his first wife, Beverly (Quast). He was drafted in the Army in 1952 and served for two years. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee.
He owned and operated National Radio and TV in West Allis for more than 25 years. He retired in 1997 and traveled for 12 years in his motorhome with his wife, Joanne, before settling in Greenfield.
Glenn married Joanne in 1982 in Milwaukee. They were married for 31 years.
Glenn enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his children, traveling in his motorhome all across the country and playing cards with family and friends.
Glenn was preceded in death by his father, George Wallace; his mother, Erna; and his grandson, Arik J. Hett.
Glenn is survived by his spouse, Joanne (Soiney) of Greenfield; his sons, Larry (Nancy) Sisson of Newport, Vt., and Lon Sisson of Racine; his daughter, Linda (Tom) Hett of Pewaukee; stepchildren, Kim (Marty) Jenich of Madison and Jill Hurst of Milwaukee; his brother, William Sisson of Greenwood; grandchildren, Sam, Sarah, Tony, Liz, Becky, Will and Katie; and step-grandchildren, Aaron, Ben, Eli, Jordan and Graham; great-granddaughter, Molly; step-great-grandchildren, Caleb and Harper; and other relatives and many friends.
The family will be greeting friends and relatives from 11 a.m. until the 12:30 p.m. memorial service Saturday, July 27, at the Bevsek-Verbick Funeral Home, 10210 W. Lincoln Ave., West Allis.
