Frank J. Smaglik

Frank J. Smaglik, 68, of North Prairie, passed away Monday, June 3, 2013, at Aurora Summit Medical Center.
Frank was born Sept. 8, 1944, in Baraboo, the son of the late Chester and Mary (Kawlewski) Smaglik.
Frank served his country in the United States Air Force.
On Jan. 24, 1970, Frank was united in marriage to the former Cheryl Pfeiffle in Milwaukee. He worked for Centurylink Telephone Co. for several years installing circuits.
He was the beloved husband of Cheryl Smaglik of North Prairie; cherished father of Christopher Smaglik of Tuscan, Ariz., and Ellen (John) Craig of Mukwonago; dear grandpa of Amelia and Jillian Craig; and brother of Margaret (John) Betten of Omaha, Neb., Thomas Smaglik of Catawba and Mark Smaglik of North Prairie. Frank is further survived by other relatives and friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis; daughter-in-law, Amy; and grandson, Neil.
A funeral service for Frank will be held at 6 p.m.
Thursday, June 6, at Haase Lockwood & Associates (Mealy’s Chapel) Funeral Home, 103 W. Eagle St., Eagle, with the Rev. Daniel Torkelson officiating. Visitation for Frank will be from 4 p.m.
Thursday until the time of service at the funeral home.
Private burial will be held at North Prairie Cemetery.
