Dolores Kathryn VanDillen (nee Howard) passed away peacefully at her Waukesha residence and into God’s care on Sunday, June 9, 2013, at the age of 98.

She is being welcomed to heaven by her loving husband, Bernard Jr.; her son, Paul; her parents, G.F and Nora Howard; her sisters, Jean Howard and Inez Smith; her brother, Paul Howard; and daughter-inlaw, Pat VanDillen.

Dolores is survived by her loving children, Karen (Bob) Pease, John (the late Pat), Mary VanDillen, Anne VanDillen and Joe (Ellen) VanDillen. She is also survived by her sister, Janice Drout; her grandchildren, Mike, Mark, River and Rainin; and great-grandchildren, Chelsa, J.J., Ashley, Kai, Nathan, Cole, Liliana and Paige. Dolores is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dolores was a 60-year member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waukesha.

Visitation for Dolores will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today, June 13, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, with funeral services at 5 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date.

The family would like to extend sincere thanks to their sister, Anne VanDillen, for the love and care given by her to our mother the past two years.
