Ann L. Reynders (nee Katona)
May 30, 1912 – June 15, 2013
Ann L. Reynders (nee Katona) of Waukesha died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at LindenGrove at the age of 101. She was born in Lorain, Ohio, on May 30, 1912, the daughter of Joseph and Suzann (nee Kolaric) Katona.
Ann was a graduate of West Allis Central High School and was employed by Allis Chalmers prior to her marriage. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church for 65 years, where she was involved in the St. Luke’s sewing circle. Ann was also a member of the Golden Agers at the Schuetze Building and previously a volunteer at the food pantry.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine of St. Louis, and her son, Richard (Denise) of Genesee. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry; her sisters, Ethel, Kay and Bertha; and her brother, Joseph.
A remembrance will take place Saturday, June 22, from 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 300 Carroll St., Waukesha. Private interment will be held at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
