Jerry Ybarra of Butler passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family Sunday, June 23, 2013, at the age of 60.
He was the beloved husband of Debbie (nee Krueger) for 15 years. He was the loving father of Paul (Stacey) Ybarra, Kara (Keith) Ybarra, Lucas (Justine) Ybarra and Jordan Ybarra; treasured grandpa of Zoe, Ellyanna, Quaid, Alexys and Vaughn; dear brother of Jullian (Mary), Joe, Jim, Jessie, Martha (Sharone) Ybarra and Julia Ybarra; brother-in-law of Lori (Thomas) Tiegs, Jeff (Janice) Krueger, Larry Krueger and Kathy (Stephen) Wernig; and son-in-law of Darlene Krueger.
Jerry is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his feline companion, Nikko.
Jerry was preceded in death by father, Jullian Ybarra Sr.; mother, Tommi Burnett; father-in-law, Larry Krueger; and sister-in-law, Mary Ybarra.
Jerry was a hardworking man who retired from Navistar after 31 years of service.
He also worked with Fortis Security for 25 years. Jerry continued to work security at Harley-Davidson.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 28, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.
Jerry was a devoted Chicago Bears fan. His family has a special request: Please join us in honoring Jerry by wearing the Bears’ colors of orange and navy blue on Friday.
